The François Sicard square situated near the cathedral and the street Lavoisier is a splendid garden designed in 1864 by the Bühler brothers, well known landscape architects. This urban garden brings out the history and monuments of two thousands years old. This public garden links up harmoniously several terraces very different the ones from the others.
The orangery is sheltered from the wind by the ancient arenas. The towers of the cathedral built from the 12th to the 16th centuries emerge from the tops of the trees. A magnificent cedar of Lebanon from the first empire occupies a place of honour in the middle of the garden. This park is a very pleasant place to rest at spring time.
