Situated to the south of Tours’s suburb, in Chambray les Tours and Saint Avertin, these woods belonging to the city of Tours offer to the strollers more than 300 hectares of forest and clearings. The wooded parts are runned by the National Forest Office that plans the feelings and reforestations.
Some deers and bucks can be seen in the animal parks. Some jogging tracks, markers for orienteering courses, picnic tables, riding tracks and a small pond also add to this pleasant place.
