How about a fabulous journey through the richness of the world's waters? Through its themed rooms with original decorations, the Grand Aquarium of Touraine takes you on a surprising journey where you can admire different kinds of fish living in fresh waters and in the oceans.
You will be amazed by the tunnel allowing you to admire the great species of our regions, sturgeons, pike, zander ... The tropical fresh waters will immerse you in the world of piranhas, caimans, archers fish ... Without forgetting the show electric eels and the rare group of American spatula fish. The youngest will love the tactile pool where the koi carp come to seek contact with the visitor as well as the reptile nursery.

In the heart of Tours, the Olivier Debré Centre for Contemporary Creation is a prestigious artistic space with an international reputation. The CCCOD presents about ten exhibitions each year.

Designed by the Aires Mateus brothers, the building houses 4 large spaces dedicated to contemporary art and allows the public to enjoy several exhibitions in one visit. The name of the CCCOD pays tribute to Olivier Debré, a painter of lyrical abstraction whose studios were located in Touraine.

Mediators are at the disposal of the public and each exhibition is accompanied by a personalised programme: fun workshops, guided tours, lectures and various events.

The Bookstorming bookshop and the contemporary café are open to the public.

Owned by the Indre et Loire Departmental Council, the site comprises two castles: the keep built by the Count of Anjou, Foulques Nerra, and the royal dwelling with its Renaissance architecture. The latter saw Agnès Sorel, Joan of Arc and Anne of Brittany pass through. A pretty medieval garden is also located at the foot of the keep. Each year, a new exhibition is proposed in parallel with the augmented reality tours on the Histopad tablets.
