Le Jardin Secret (The Secret Garden) invites you to enjoy an original culinary experience with the cuisine of Chef Andrea Modesto. This former sous-chef to Joël Robuchon combines local produce, vegetables and flowers from the Rivau gardens with the flavours of his native Italy. In the Rivau kitchen garden, we lovingly cultivate ancient vegetables native to the Centre Val de Loire region. An edible wild plant garden adds the flavours of wild plants to the château's cuisine. The restaurant has an intimate atmosphere, with only 20 covers, so you can make the most of the château for an enchanting and memorable meal, with a fine selection of Loire wines!

The encounter of the land and the sea. Ludovic Launay combines his native Brittany and Touraine. He created Bouillabaisse à la Tourangelle, with red mullet, monkfish, rockfish, rillons, andouillette and a saffron sauce in wonderful harmony. The chef exclusively serves food made on the premises with an emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients. The sauces are made with care, as can be seen in the fried round of veal with a veal and ginger reduction gravy. The desserts are just as subtle and are well worth the visit, such as the crispy biscuits with almonds, salted butter and fruits. The kitchen is open onto the dining room and the decor recently updated, helping to add a warm and contemporary touch.

In the gardens of the Château du Rivau, facing the Château and Gargantua's vegetable patch, "La Table des Fées" offers cuisine crafted from local, seasonal produce and with plenty of salads and vegetables from our garden.
