La Grange de Meslay
Founded by the renowned Ukrainian pianist Sviatoslav Richter, this festival brings together the world's greatest classical musicians. Relaxation, lunch on the grass and virtuosity are the watchwords of this 61st edition of the festival. The musicians will be playing at the prestigious Grange de Meslay, as well as ‘outside the walls’, with concerts at MAME, Espace Malraux, Le Nouvel Atrium and the Grand Théâtre-Opera in Tours.

In the intimate setting of the Cloître de la Psalette, nestling in the heart of Tours' Saint-Gatien cathedral, the '37° à l'ombre' festival offers a programme of jazz and classical music. The multi-disciplinary festival ‘Ô les Beaux Jours’ returns for its 6th edition in the bucolic setting of the Château du Plessis in La Riche. The guinguettes on the banks of the Loire

Le Sanitas

Les Beaumonts
The festive spirit has taken hold of this 1,500 m² former military hall, which will become a third-party venue in 2021. All year round, associations keep this space alive, opening it up to the public when the weather's fine and hosting alternative events such as yoga classes, open-air cinema, choral DJ sets, etc. Whether you're an artist or just a stroller, you're bound to find yourself in this lively space!
The Bordiers garden

Circus
For its 2nd edition, the Fondettes International Festival of Circus Arts and Music Hall is pulling out all the stops! For three days, some forty international artists will be performing a succession of acrobatics, contortionist acts, illusions, high-flying juggling and even humorous performances, but always with a touch of magic.

Stand-up comedy is all the rage! To get your zygomatic muscles in shape, head to Le Jouvenceau, a tapas bar where artists take to the microphone for 1 hour every Friday and Saturday from September to June. Another show not to be missed is that of Pinguette Comedy Club, a travelling troupe that takes over various venues in Tours, including the Epicure Social Club, Le Quartier and The People.
