- The Tours Loire Valley and Villandry Tourist Offices have been awarded the Tourism & Handicap label, enabling them to offer the best possible welcome to visitors with motor, mental, visual or hearing disabilities.
  A hearing aid, a Braille presentation of the town and a document with enlarged characters are available at reception.
  In Tours, there is a parking space reserved for people with reduced mobility in front of the Tourist Office, and the nearest adapted public toilets are at Tours SNCF station.
- The Tours Loire Valley and Villandry Tourist Offices have been awarded the Accueil Vélo label, which guarantees a high-quality welcome and services along cycle routes for touring cyclists.
- Tours is definitely worth a visit!
  The Michelin Guide Travel & Culture (formerly the Green Guide) stars are a real benchmark for visitors, allowing them to identify at a glance a site that is not to be missed. In the 2025 edition, Tours has been awarded two stars (**), meaning ‘worth a visit’. This distinction is based on nine criteria, including heritage richness, labels, beauty, authenticity, and the quality of the welcome and visit.
