The Château de Villandry reopens on November 11, but the gardens remain open all month. It’s the perfect opportunity to (re)discover them in a more intimate setting, far from the summer crowds!

Join us at 6:00 p.m. in the gourmet library at Villa Rabelais for a tasting dedicated to Loire wines! Accompanied by an oenologist, set out to discover the Loire vineyards and their iconic grape varieties. Six wines, carefully selected to highlight the characteristics of the various Loire vineyards, will be available for tasting.
But you won’t just be tasting and listening—you’ll be observing, smelling, touching, comparing, and, above all, sharing your thoughts! Using the tasting sheet, you can freely express your impressions and note what each wine brings to mind: fruits, flowers, spices, tannins, freshness, minerality… There are no wrong answers—your own feelings will be your best guide.
