Beauvilliers - hôtels de beauval

The Hôtel Beauvilliers is the work of Jules-Hardouin Mansart, First Architect to King Louis XIV and Superintendent of the King's Buildings. Enclosed by walls, the two L-shaped buildings are arranged around a magnificent inner courtyard paved with greenery. Classically built with tufa stone and high windows, Hôtel Beauvilliers was once a hôtel-Dieu for the people of Saint-Aignan. It was then transformed into a hotel to welcome visitors, vacationers, local enthusiasts and Beauval enthusiasts. Choosing to stay at the Hôtel Beauvilliers means opting for a stay in a beautiful setting that is several hundred years old, but with all the comforts of home. Beauvilliers, a place steeped in history and a witness to the vestiges of the Grand Siècle.
